Pure and Folk *-* *-* *-* they are my favourite I like them as well - the promos for the next episode strongly hint that Pure might actually be developing some feelings. I think that his conversation with Waan about Beau was more force of habit than any actual interest on his part - and I hope that it doesn't destroy their relationship. Itt seems to be more accepting of his feelings for Pai in college - even though both are still to stubborn to talk things out. The tent scene at the end was nice. I had no idea that JJ (Waan actor) was half of an identical pair of twins - and each one has acted in multiple series. JJ did 2gether the series and this one, while his twin AJ was in Dark Blue Kiss.

While I was initially rooting for Waan and Pure - I have to say Pure and Folk were amazing together in the first half of episode 10 and now I definitely ship them. I am completely amazed at how Fiat can just turn the chemistry on during his scenes with Pure's romantic interests and he does his best work with Aun. Unfortunately there is too much miscommunication and hurt feelings all around - I don't see how they will get everyone patched up into their proper pairings in the last two episodes

I think the plot is following a fairly basic premise with Itt and Pai so it will all come down to what happens at the competition and whether either of them will say or do something that will resonate with the other. I'm not sure who will win the competition though. Itt seems like the front-runner seeing as he is already popular on campus and would no doubt get the votes from all the squeeing girls (and boys) who find him attractive, so Pai would have to pull something out of the bag to get more votes. Maybe he'll give a heartfelt speech or something, or maybe neither of them will win? Folk is in the competition too, isn't he? so maybe he'll win. It seems pretty obvious that Itt is going to be Mr 950 and all his cajoling and goading of Pai will turn out to be his way of trying to instil Pai with more self-confidence even though in reality it has come across as harassment most of the time. I have to admit I'm not seeing much chemistry between Marc and Win, but then their characters have been antagonistic towards each other throughout their University time, so that's possibly an unfair criticism. I did actually like them in the early episodes at high school when they were friends and getting all bromancy together. Pure and Folk are great, but then I've always thought Fiat has good chemistry with whoever he plays opposite. It doesn't matter what I watch him in, I always end up rooting for him even when he's playing a character of dubious morality (yes, Gifted: Graduation, I'm looking at you). The scenes between Pure and Folk at the start of ep 10 were very appealing... and as they say, it's always nice to get a new perspective.

kevvoi, there's an episode 12 still to come.
Also, I almost thought we'd escaped the episode 11 curse with this series but nope, I should have known better. They had to throw that cliffhanger at us!

The cliffhanger was something else - but I kind of am okay with it right now. We generally don't get that many coming out scenes in Thai shows - and I suspect at least part of this one will be building the parents' acceptance of Pai and his relationship with Itt. Frankly they probably need an entire season to devote to this - since poor Pai has had his entire life mapped out by his parents in terms of his career choices. They probably were too clueless to pick up on his interest in Itt when he was in high school - as even when he is at the hospital - they both were rushing away to meetings instead of talking to him.
If anything, the part of the show that kind of disappointed me was how easy it was for Folk to take Pure back - they probably needed a little more time to explore.
It was delightful to have Sammy be the Emcee for the Star and Moon competition, but she seemed much more into the show that any of the participants or audience.

I ended up really liking this episode - it went much better than I had thought. Itt looked very handsome in the episode too. Smiley Pai at the end was nice - maybe the director has been directing him to be so stand-offish as part of his anxiety, and with the truth coming out he was finally able to relax around the people he cares for. The dinner at the noodle shop and the campground scene were great.
I still think the woman who played Pai's mother was too young to be Pai's mother.
Pure seems to do all his best bonding over getting tested. Folk probably should have dropped him right then and there, but the reconciliation on the bridge was nicely done and seeing Folk pick up Pure was everything.

I was pleased the parents didn't take long to come around to accepting Pai's sexuality although I did find the writing around that whole situation a bit problematic.
First we had Pai falling in line with his parents wishes without a word of resistance. When his mother told him he 'had time to change because he was still young' he just meekly agreed with her. We spent twelve episodes watching Itt cajole, push and bully Pai in an effort to instil him with more confidence and self-esteem but he appeared to have the same lack of self-worth at the end that he had at the beginning. That's pretty poor character growth even if Itt's methods were questionable. In the end, Pai did nothing to help himself (except cry) and it took Itt's direct intervention with the parents to actually change things.
Then, when the parents did start to accept how things stood, it felt more like they were just being accepting rather than supportive. All their talk appeared to revolve around how tough it could be and what society might think about them being together rather than assuring and confirming to Pai that he had their full love and support regardless of any challenges that he and Itt might face in the future. That all just felt a bit off to me, but I suppose kudos are still deserved for the responsible "No glove, no love" message and the charming scene when Folk picked up Pure - literally!
Unlike others, I liked Pai and Itt more when they were still blue shorts boys rather than when they were University students. For me they seemed to have better chemistry in those early episodes and it was nice seeing them both actually smile at each other in scenes.

Halfway through the university plot, I got bored of seeing the back and forth of Pai and Itt. The only reason I kept going was PureFolk. They really rushed the development of PureFolk (not surprising when they dedicated half the series to high school), considering we see PureFolk in bed multiple time before we even get a PaiItt kiss.
