I am starting to think that Tien may have more to feel guilty about then receiving Torfun's heart - perhaps he was the driver of the car that struck her? This was definitely a great episode for progressing Tien and the Chief's relationship. I adore the Doctor (Nammon is usually stuck in side roles - at least this one is giving him something to do) - I like that he is playing cupid getting Tien and the Chief together. Tul's acceptance of Tien's declaration that Tien was gay was amazing as well as confused about his feelings for a guy (it didn't quite have the punch it had in the first trailer, but I still enjoyed it). The kite scene was beautiful until it wasn't Chief looked so broken seeing Tien collapse.

Tian being more involved in Torfun's accident is certainly being hinted at. Hopefully that isn't true though cause that seem pretty insane drama to bring into this show. I love that the main couple actually admit they may be gay, and not that they are straight but with an "exception" for the other person. Got so tired of that trope in other BL. I really wish Tian take better care of his health though. He is completely reckless in doing everything you're not supposed to after a heart transplant. Hopefully the rest of the village find out the truth soon so they can force him to take care of himself. Otherwise, this show will probably end with Tian dead

As soon as the boxes of tea satchels went into the school's storeroom (and where did that come from - was it magically behind the chalkboard??? - I don't think I understand the geometry of that building), I thought that the tea mafia thugs would be burning it down. Earth got to show a wider range of emotions than I think I have ever seen from him - I probably enjoyed the jealous pangs of hate sent towards Longtae the most, but he had the gambit from fearful concern to wistful romantic, and even pride. I thought pairing him with the kids was an inspired choice - and it is pretty clear that he can build rapport with just about anyone he acts with. I liked last week's scene with the kites so much - because it felt less like them acting and more like the cast just bonding with the kids. The classroom felt much the same with Chief's gentle interrogation. Tien - maybe check if Thailand has child labor laws first before you build a sweatshop in the school. Though I did appreciate that he was trying really hard to figure out a way out of the mess that he forced out into the open (and I suspect eventually someone would have caught onto the tea mafia's cheating - so I don't really blame him), his solution might not have been viable for long term if it pulled the children away from their schooling. And if GMMTV is the one running the sweatshop - I may throw things (https://www.gmm-tv.com/shop/accessories/pha-pun-dao-fragant-tea-sachets-th). I did enjoy Tien's flirtiness with the chief - and it was pretty clear that he knew that every interaction with Longtae was driving the chief up the wall. Here's hoping they move on to real intimacy and away from these shy games that they have been playing the last couple episodes. I am not sure the hand massages were really appropriate with the kids - but I did appreciate the Chief cutting in line so he could hold hands. My big problem - Tien just collapsed, was admonished by the doctor - yet a.) doesn't change his behavior at all and b.) runs into a burning building where carbon monoxide is being produced by the combustion of everything in the building reacting with oxygen (and that is another problem - the low oxygen environment in the burning building) (https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/01/080129125412.htm#:~:text=According%20to%20the%20findings%20of,and%20permanently%20impairs%20cardiac%20function). Tien - take a break - the Chief should tie you into bed (and no chief that is not an invitation for some more vigorous activity at this time - you are just going to have to be a gentle giant for awhile), so you don't do anything rash. The fact that Tien came out of the fire clutching the kite (and not a couple boxes of tea satchels) may show his real priority. I accidentally logged in to the board at work today for a quick update - Antistatic's post was about the first thing I saw - boy am I glad that with Covid, there was no one around, as I may have spent a moment or two studying it

It's cute if they're making a few for fun and happen to sell them, it's another thing to turn the whole town into a factory. And the hand massage thing! I was like, there are children around and you're giving each other these looks of desire while this hand massage is going on. Talk about not for work behavior! The conversation that they had about being direct, but neither of them was being direct had me go (-ლ) I'm glad Tien finally told someone (even though he didn't have much of a choice) about Torfun, but I also hope he tells Chief before announcing it to the whole village. Unfortunately, I know it will probably come out before he has the chance to come clean to anyone else and it's going to lead to drama, because that's how these things always go. My guess is Longtee will be there to help make everyone and especially Chief understand why Tien didn't say anything.

I don't think Tien starting up a child sweatshop matters too much, since it isn't like the kids were getting much schooling anyway. It seem like the only learning they do is from Tien, who may be a great friend, but a very bad teacher. It doesn't seem like the kids get taught when a teacher isn't assigned there by that foundation, so they basically self-studied during those months between Torfun and Tien (Considering this village doesn't seem to be a popular choice for volunteer teachers, do the kids just go years between having schooling?). The kids are either super smart, or already severely behind other kids their age.
I think we can all agree that Tien is an idiot and has no regard for his own health. I really hope the doctor does the sensible thing and tell the Chief. The doctor knows the condition of the village and should know that Tien's current lifestyle is horrible for someone who just had a heart transplant. Tien's health should override any promise he makes to keep his secret.
One thing I don't get is why is it Tien's responsibility to tell the village about Torfun's death. The rangers all knew about her death and have made the decision to hide it from the village. Why does Tien feel like he has the right to divulge this secret? Not sure if it is part of the writer's bias or Tien's personality, it feels like he looks down on the simple helpless village folks, who needs a a savior. Not even counting the fact both Torfun and he came from the city to teach in a village, there was the incident about the weighing incident, that he must come come up with an alternative business for the village, and now that he must enlighten the village about Torfun's death.

Repost of part 1 of episode 7 courtesy of GMMTV:
I really liked the Chief in this one - the flirty end scene with Tian coming back for his toothbrush only to find the chief naked was definitely a highlight. Otherwise, this was not my favorite episode - I really don't think Tien needs the extra guilt of being responsible for Torfun's death and having her heart transplanted into him. I still suspect that there will be some last minute plot device where one of Tien's friends will be driving the vehicle (and heading to a hospital) because Tien was having a heart attack.

Yeah, I really think they will do some kind of fake out and not make Tian responsible for Torfun's accident, even if it is his car. Cause if he is responsible, that is a lot of drama, and will be nearly impossible to tackle in the 2 episodes they have left.

Good episode but man did Tian frustrate me by not telling everyone the whole story. Saying you are responsible for someone's death without giving any context is obviously going to give people the illusion that you were the one that killed them. And while he does have some partial blame being the one who set up the race and handing the keys over to his friend while telling him to race in his stead, he himself did not kill her and that is a BIG distinction. I'm not surprised that the villagers acted that way because all they heard was she's dead and Tian caused it. He may have acted a little less self-compromising on that front if he wasn't so riddled with guilt but I get it, that would probably be extremely hard to talk about that in front of everyone. I can't say that everyone would have had Phupa's level of understanding and forgiveness but they would definitely would have a better reaction than what they did here. Also Dr. Nam needs his own detective show lol. Just glad he had the sense to not accuse Tul in front of everyone like I thought he would.

I agree Westwolf. My one other complaint was the last part was just too dark to see anything. I had no idea what was going on in the fight.
