I don't think that there is really anything that conspicuous of her asking Olli too. Partying together is a very casual thing over here. I do think it is a prime source of future mates, but it doesn't have this connotation of being a definite invitation/obligation for sex. (like Olli partying with Olivia or Christian offering to party with Lisa way back as an apology for things not working out with Olli) It's typical youth entertainment and you can't really do it alone. And I think mixed sex groups are actually the norm rather than the exception (though usually it's more likely to be more than just two people). Actually, that's what made me suspicious about her motives. Now, granted I'm relying on Nanna's translations for my understanding of what's being said here. But despite the fact that Olli is known to be Christian's friend and roommate, and he's sitting right there, she specifically asks Christian if just he and her can go out to the clubs. Only when Christian turns her down does she turn to Olli. Grasping at straws clearly. Since she didn't make her initial invitation open to the both of them it looked to me like she wanted more than just to go out dancing. Poor, sweet, frustrated thing of course being oblivious to the loving glances being exchanged by the boys. Much as Gregor is, who comes sweeping in lamenting Christian's apparent celibacy (apparent to him and Miriam anyway). Gregor, whose been looking to get Miriam for a while now (workplace harassment laws in Germany apparently not applying to small businesses), then moves in for the score. I have to say I wasn't impressed by either of their techniques. Were it not for the fact that they were both obviously in the mood this "date" would have gone really sour, really fast. Gregor never even bothered to take her to clubs, figuring he could liquor her up and go for the prize without wasting time or money leaving his flat. Miriam didn't bother with even a token resistance. Still, he must have been good considering how infatuated she was afterwards. Christian had now been shuffled back into the position of coworker/friend while Gregor advanced to relationship prospect. At least until he went for Number Two. From the look of things without even showering first, which is just gross.

See, it didn't ping me as weird because it's a popular strategy to sort of dilute your obvious intentions by asking out more than one person and go out in a larger group. She asks Christian because he the one she wants to go out with (that much we know). He says no. She thinks, okay, maybe I came on to strong and asks Olli out as a cover/signal for Christian that it is "safe" to say yes because they'll go as a larger group (that it could be the "let's have fun together and get to know each other first in a low pressure environment" kind of going out rather than the "I'll jump your bones immediately" going out) or just to indicate that she is not that interested/dedicated to just Christian aka that she is not a stalker. Of course I think "I really want to have sex with you" doesn't really count as an ulterior motive especially since she was so obvious about it before. I actualy do think that she did put up the token resistance with Gregor (teasing Gregor that he was trying to get her drunk, that he was just flattering her and moving away the first time when he tried to kiss her). Besides, she waited for him to kiss her rather than jump him, which in my book is restraint ;D That said, that she announced that she was in love immediately afterwards is certainly skeezy/strange. Personally I was very fascianted that her hair and make up looked perfect despite of what they were supposed to have been doing. Most be one of those practial soap universe laws. Either way, your mileage may vary. I have seen German people react the same way (Ewwww, she was hitting on every guy in the room) and others who didn't have a problem with it

At least until he went for Number Two. From the look of things without even showering first, which is just gross. Nothing says classy like double-dipping with no cleaning in-between partners. Worse than not changing the sheets. And Miriam really lacks the ability to play to hard to get, which would be fine if she was emotionally able to handle hit-it/quit-it type of sexual interludes. She's talking about love and a relationship with Gregor after an hour (if that) in the sack. While I applaud Gregor's obvious prowess in the sack with his weapon of magic, SUCH a bad idea to screw his employee then attempt to pick up another woman in front of her. Christian was right to bust up Gregor's second lay attempt of the night. Was I the only one who thought those margaritas looked terrible? Plus the amount in each was stingy.

Was I the only one who thought those margaritas looked terrible? Plus the amount in each was stingy. No, that was why I was convinced that Gregor had put Rohypnol in them. Still, the quantity seemed typical. In Frankfurt I would order a Weizenbier and get a glass a foot tall. Order a mixed drink and I got something embarrassingly small. Besides, I'm sure Gregor waters the drinks at No Limits. Those bachelor parties would have probably left in a hurry if Christian and Olli hadn't been manning the bar. Miriam has no ability to be subtle. Even discounting the t-shirt from their first clubbing excursion, which Nanna assures me is innocent in Germany, the "hints" she drops are so blatant that the only way she could be more direct is to reenact a certain scene from The Exorcist. It is true she doesn't seem to have the right mindset for it though. She was probably more interested in Christian because he was a known romantic (if only she knew). But by the time she made her move it was already too late. BTW: the most glaring piece of evidence that Christian is gay is that he seems to be the sympathetic ear all girls want to share their romantic notions. First Judith and now Miriam. At this rate he'll be able to host a talk show in Dusseldorf! Gregor is being a cad right now. But Miriam should have known what she was getting into the way he obsessively talks about having sex these days. Clearly he's very good at it. But his pickup technique left me skeeving out. That and of course the not showering between tricks. This is not Paris Gregor! Christian is now going to have to assume some of the older brother responsibilities it seems, since Gregor has reverted to being a horny teenager. Kudos to Christian for breaking up his attempt to become sloppy seconds for another "lucky" girl. This is all going to get interesting!

But maybe he did and they didn't show us. Now that would be a scene most of us would liked to see.

This could be a one hander episode, just like Eastenders did with Dot, only this one would be about Gregor in the shower ;D Mind you, we saw both Olli and Christian in the shower a few times already, it's now Gregor's turn

But maybe he did and they didn't show us. Now that would be a scene most of us would liked to see. Christian needed Gregor urgently because the bar was packed. Gregor said he would get dressed, not shower and get dressed, and he was next seen downstairs in the same clothes he was wearing earlier. I'm guessing neither he nor Miriam showered. It's disappointing because I absolutely agree that Gregor should shower onscreen as often as possible. For that matter, I personally think that Gregor should never wear anything more than a Speedo onscreen (Christian and Olli too for that matter).

Seriously, though, he totally had on the same clothes and like you said, he never mentioned showering befor ereturning downstairs. *shudders again*

BTW it was such a hurry, but he did not seem to be helping a lot in the bar. It was still Olli and Christian working while he was hitting on everything with a pulse...

And I am sure you can add that to the list of reasons Christian was annoyed enough to go over there and break up Gregor's flirtation. While we all know that Christian loves spending time with Olli these days, you know he'd rather be spending it upstairs trying out whatever surface they have so far not managed to make love on. Having to work the bar while Gregor tries for his second score of the evening can't have put him in a good mood. Also, Christian's a decent sort of guy and while he doesn't want Miriam himself, he doesn't want to see her mistreated, certainly not by his brother. He was obviously bothered by how quickly she'd fallen for Gregor (my God he must be good in bed!) and how Gregor just turned around and went chasing another woman. Did anyone else think that Olli came across as a bit of a sarcastic queen that whole "I'm counting" bit as he watched Gregor's antics with amusement?

I think he was just amused by Gregor. But I think he was sarcastic at the beginning when Miriam said "How boring" and he said "Boring like yesterday's weather forecast."

And as superdonkey mentioned on the last page, I was kind of surprised by how territorial Olli seemed when he said "I'm even more boring." It looks like Christian isn't the only one who can be a bit jealous!

It looks like Christian isn't the only one who can be a bit jealous! I'm quite sure that, even if not showing it very much, Olli is very very jealous of Chris, maybe even more than the latter can be. But his character helps him hide that pretty well.

I agree with aldebaran - Olli may get a kick out of the secrecy and sneaking around, but only so long as Christian doesn't have to actually do anything with anyone else to keep their cover. And with the Tom/Olli story, we've seen what Olli will do if he feels he's being neglected.
