Is it just me or was Pol's decision to have sex with Bruno a little out of the blue? I mean, we were shown that there is a deep connection between them and Pol does have a shortage of love in his life, but he is also VERY straight. I'm not saying it doesn't make sense that he wanted to try it with Bruno, just that the show could have supplied some more information about how Pol reached the point where he was interested in sex with Bruno.
Pol is a born leader. I think he has potential greatness in him and in the next season I hope we see his potential developing further.

It did seem a bit out of the blue, but it may just be Pol wanting affection where he can get some, now that is grandma is dead. I don't think he is really gay either, but is willing to give sex with Bruno a chance so he feel loved.

I've only made it through episode 6, I'm still working through the rest. From what I've seen so far, yeah it seems odd for Pol to have consider sex with Bruno. As I watch, I've been wondering whether Pol has previously had any close friends like Bruno. Pol doesn't seem to have much of an emotional connection with anyone at home, so maybe that's what he sought with Bruno? I dunno, I'm hoping the rest of the season is enlightening.

So I just finished watching up through episode 10. I'm enjoying it so far. Yeah, Pol's decision to jump on Bruno was unexpected given his characterization. I'm not surprised that he later told Bruno that he was just experimenting. He was really down since his grandmother died, and he's clearly been thinking a lot about his life. The alcohol certainly helped push things along. I liked that Bruno strongly hinted that he feels a lot more for Pol than he previously let on. I suppose it would have been nice for him to just tell Pol that he's in love with him, but this was quite effective. It didn't seem like Pol liked Bruno getting upset and walking away. I guess this is the thing that I'm curious about what might drive Pol in the future. He clearly isn't getting much care and support from his brother and father. He has quite a few friends, though they seem so be "just" friends. Now Bruno admits to caring a lot about Pol. I can imagine that could be an enticing prospect in some ways, to fill the emotional gap he feels. Bruno offers something ... but he's a man, which just doesn't mesh with what he's always done. Thing is, we haven't seen Pol really be conflicted yet. So with all of that said, I actually don't expect Pol and Bruno to become a couple in the future. I'd love for the show to prove me wrong.

Yeah, I am actually hoping Pol and Bruno don't become a couple either. I think even if they get together , it will just be a matter of time before heartache.

Just finished watching the whole 1st season (in Catalan with Spanish subtitles) and I just loved it. Not only the Bruno/Pol storyline (even though I do love both their characters) but I came to care for all the kids in this show. I would've loved to have a group of friends like that in High School - as well as a teacher like Merlí LOL Aside from that, I just love how they created Bruno as a very "flawed" but still sympathetic character... to me it made his whole journey feel way more real on this 1st season. I'm not gonna spoil for those following RKFanvidder's edits, but I gotta say I even shed a few tear during the finale. Now, I have just one question... maybe someone knows the answer. Did they know there would be a 2nd season before wrapping up the first one? I mean, even though the finale gives some hints (especially the final scene with some of the characters making toasts) about the themes they were leaving "open" for 2nd season - Pol/Bruno turbulent relationship, the Monica/Joan/Gerar triangle, Ivan trying to fit in again... - I also felt it worked really well as a final episode for the show in general, like, not just as a final episode for a season. For some reason if felt that way to me LOL. Does anyone know?

Nice to see this last few episodes with English subtitles after watching the Catalan version with Spanish captions. My Spanish is alright but not 100% , so a couple of things always get lost. The end to that episode was just great... Oliver's little speech, Merli's look at Bruno and Bruno's discomfort. Bruno reminds me a lot of myself at that age. My mood was all over the place as a closeted teen as well... I was never that terrible to teachers but I used to target my angst a lot at family members and people close to me (definitely not my proudest moment). Seeing that makes me really go back... thankfully I grew out of that. As a side note, am I the only one who loves Tania? She's such a good friend! It's a shame the person who dubs her in spanish sounds nothing like her. I though all the actors dubbed themselves in the show... confused why the actress that plays her didn't

Pol explained pretty clearly why he made up with Bruno. In the party Marc was talking about a threesome and he said that he likes to try everything and Pol just aplies that logic. He said that he liked made up with Bruno, but the problem is that he used Bruno. He was not making up with a random guy, he was doing it with his best friend, someone he knows has feelings for him.
And yes, i really like Tania, she is an amazing friend, hopefully she will get her own story next season.
As far as we know there's a new studient, and ucranian girl who will interact most with Marc.
The rest of the young cast is exactly the same (including Oliver). Bruno will get over Pol and he will get a love story in the new season (by the way, he has a new haircut)

Yep, I follow a lot of the actors on Instagram and they seen to be having a blast shooting the new season. I also noticed a young guy that appears on some photos they have been posting since the begging of the 2nd season shooting in May (a lot of them with David Solans who plays Bruno)... he was not part of last season, so I wonder if he could possibly be his love interest for the new season.

Is that the last part? and when is season 2 coming? No, there's one last part. The 1st season has 13 episodes. RKFanvidder will probably be posting the last part this week. 2nd season begins airing in September.

Really enjoyed the first season for this so glad there will be a second! Definitely think there needs to be at someone else for Bruno as Oliver doesn't seem like his type and Pol is straight (and curious).
As far as Pol making a move on Bruno I didn't think it was so out of the ordinary... I just think that Pol knew that Bruno loved him and in that moment, when he was in a home that he desperately wished he had, he felt he could show that he loved him as well (even in its a bff way). I still think he was curious though! He reminded me of a mix of Dakin from the History Boys and Shane from Eternal Summer.
Regardless they are all wonderfully complex characters that are really enjoyable to watch. (btw did anyone else think Bruno was both an annoying bratty teenager and also still really likeable!?!)

I agree with everything you wrote! I also feel a Bruno pairing with Oliver would not feel natural. They are not each others type at all. Oliver mentioned he liked much older guys and Bruno seem to be more into Pol-like dudes. I don't think Pol and Bruno will be together, as in a love relationship, but i think there's still more stuff that could happen in the future. I also get the same feeling as you do about Pol's move on Bruno. Aside from that, I think Pol loves the attention he gets from Bruno (and people/girls in general), so I'm curious what his reaction will be when/if Bruno decides to move on. I love how this characters are all flawed. I mean everybody on this show has had questionable moments, but also really good heartfelt ones. It's what makes then so complex and engaging to me at least, especially Bruno and Merlí. The acting also helped, as I think David Solans is a great young actor and did an amazing job portraying Bruno in both his more subtle moments and larger than life scenes. Actually, the acting was GREAT all around this 1st season. It's hard assembling so many good young actors with great chemistry like they were able to do in this show!

New clip courtesy of RKFanvidder: Just wanted to point out that was a GREAT finale for 1st season. I love how they do sad without going over-dramatic, and hopeful and cheery without being corny. I mean, anywhere else a comparison of coming out and springtime would be cheesy as hell, but I just loved how it was constructed and delivered here! LOL I also gotta say I got a bit teary when Santi's wife said that Bruno deserved to be happy and that was what Santi would've said as well... Santi was such a great teacher

The young cast are newbies, so the producers decided to go with all of them to a country house to make them know each other at the beginning of the first season, in my opinion that did wonders on the acting level because their friendship rings true. The second season airs in the catalan tv on september, i don't know if La sexta will air the second season, i suppose it will do it because the show did well in the ratings (but not as well as in tv3 where it was a big hit). One thing that works very well is that all characters work on indivual level, Bruno's grandma is a great character, her reaction after his coming out was absolutely great, of course it's what you expect of a theatre diva
