This actually look pretty damn funny! I just hope the audience is willing to give it a chance. We all know that gay sitcoms don't tend to do well..

Does anyone know when this show will premiere? I've tried looking for a premiere date, but I can't find anything. Does this mean the premiere date hasn't been set? Are they having second thoughts about the show, due to the criticism from catholic groups? I'm kinda worried..

The home channel for the show seems to be putting in effort to advertise the show -- but I haven't seen a start date yet either. Here is the show's webpage: abc.go.com/shows/the-real-oneals

Still no premiere date - but looking like the show will air sometime in 2016.

New trailer (has some of the same scenes as the last one, but quite a bit of new stuff):

I liked the first two episodes. It's not perfect, but it has potential. I laughed several times, and that must be a good sign It often takes a while for a show to find its footing anyway. I just hope they will handle the issues with care, especially the anorexia storyline. I've already seen people say that the show is "problematic" for treating anorexia as a joke. Hopefully they won't. Hopefully they'll show anorexia as a serious illness, because it is. I don't think the son eating pancakes magically makes his anorexia disappear like the mom thinks. I hope and think they'll portray that in the upcoming episodes. All in all though it was a good start. I also love the guy they cast to play the gay son, he has amazing screen presence, he totally draws you in. It's a good thing

I like the show. Not sure how much they can focus on Kenny though. Really hope they flesh out the rest of the family and bring in more characters so the show doesn't get stale.

While it was refreshing to see someone being brutally honest, I felt that Noah should not have dragged other people into it. The Colton Haynes comment was especially uncalled for. While I thought that Colton being gay is basically an open secret and him waiting so long to announce it is disappointing, it still doesn't make it right to attack him for it. Especially since all LGBT people have their own process/journey to coming out.
I thought the Eric Stonestreet was a bit like pot calling the kettle black. I find Kenny's character to be a bit of a caricature too, so it was weird that he would comment on Eric like that.
The Singer comment... probably a better way of wording it without getting into slander territory. There were many ways he could have commented on being gay in Hollywood without mentioning any names. Considering how new he is to the industry, I am surprised that his agent didn't sit in to keep the interview from going out of control. With this interview, I think he burned up a lot of the good will he got from playing such a trailblazing role.
