The episode was really good. Not much Zude, but what we got was good Can't wait to see Jonathan Bennett's character being introduced next week

I love that Zero's response to Jude being his boss is, "That's hot!" Yes. Yes, it is. Basically, everything about those two is hot. The dynamics this season are pretty much what everyone assumed, I think. Jude clinging to his demands for a relationship while Zero tries to lure him back and continue to enjoy the best of both worlds. The logical romantic conclusion of such a story is for love to win out and for Zero to be unable to live without Jude. But the show might frustrate us by stringing the story out over several seasons. I wouldn't be surprised if they've filmed different versions of the season finale and whether or not Zero comes out this season might depend on whether or not the show gets renewed for another season. Just some speculation.

If we could decide who we loved, it would be much simpler, but less magical.

The guy in the promo looks so clean cut and a bit like Jude himself. Where I always thought it Jude was to pursue another man, he would be more like Zero. Charming, sexy, a bit of danger, perhaps Jude is trying to go for the safe route, so not to get hurt again?
I don't think Zero will come out this season, unless someone forces his hand. Though I do think it won't be long before Zero and Jude give into the heated tension between them and erupt into a passionate kiss.

Someone forcing Zero's hand seems very possible, if not likely. That one player said he would do anything to keep Zero from becoming team captain. Maybe he is going to learn about him and Jude. Backstabbing and blackmail are typical daily events on this show. How long can it be before someone starts blackmailing Zero?

I don't think Jude wants Zero to come out, he wants Zero to commit to a relationship. Jude isn't "out" to everyone. Only Lionel and his father know that Jude is gay. But Zero has to maintain his image of being a ladies man so as long as he is in the public eye he feels the need to have women around and that is what Jude doesn't like.

Jude said he wants to be able to go on a date with Zero in public. Hard to do that if you're not out.

"You put on your big girl panties and you figure it out!" Ha-ha! I loved that. It was adorable how bad Jude is at flirting. Kind of trite how Zero is conveniently around wherever Jude is at, though. Lucas is very sharp so it probably won't be long before he pieces together that Zero is Jude's big love.

Holy cow! That was scorching! I also liked the aftermath when Jude pointed out they were literally in a closet. To me, it seems inconceivable that Zero will ultimately choose to stay in the c loset, but we'll see...

I liked the new episode a lot. I liked the fact that Jude comes across as human, a human who makes mistakes but learn from them. I feel like Jude is very relatable in that way. I don't blame him for wanting to get back with Zero, after all he was the love of his life. But I also think it's awesome that he doesn't accept being his sidepiece and that what happened was just a heat of the moment kinda thing and was a mistake. If there's one quibble I have about the show though it's the fact that Zude get so little screen time. I wish we'd see them more than just 2 minutes each episode. But oh well.. I still enjoy them though. Right now they're one of the few bright spots when it comes to gay characters on tv. Especially after the horrific last year, with shows turning gay characters straight, or even worse, have characters fake their sexualities.

Did anyone notice Zero checking out that waitress's rear-end at that party he attended? I guess the show threw that in there to remind us Zero isn't actually gay. I suppose it doesn't matter if his heart is with Jude. Still, Zero is such a player that I wonder if Jude has a realistic chance of ever finding happiness with him, even if he does comes out. The kind of relationship Jude wants is just not the kind you get from guys like Zero. Not for long. Jude can do better. I think that in order to hold onto Jude Zero is going to have to do more than come out. He's going to have to drop the facade of "Zero" and just be Gideeon.

I'll be honest here, I don't remember the last time that I wanted to replay a video from any gay storyline. Zude is just, wow! I hit the replay button at least 4 times, maybe more. You're right about the screen time and also the fact that we waited 18 months for season 3. Still, it's totally worth it. Exquisite storyline, liking every single piece of it.

Here's a good spoiler clip with Jude and Zero for Monday's episode: link Since my response may be a bit spoilery: I don't think Zero is able to give Jude what he wants right now. He may truly love Jude, but he's not ready to be in a public same sex relationship. Maybe by the end of the season, though. Jonathan Bennett's character has to come in to play more, I think. ETA: I just saw this tweet from a few days ago: so it looks like Zero may need to fight for Jude!
