I really liked what Jude said to Zero and I totally understand why Jude said what he did and I also think Zero needed to hear it. It's clear that they have feelings for each other but like Jude said, Zero is so used to hiding his feelings that he doesn't know how to be in a relationship and that's what Jude wants. Like you brandon1988, I don't think Zero has a problem with being bi himself or that Jude is gay or that he's ashamed of it in anyway. I'm not sure Zero would be out and proud if he didn't already have trouble with opening up to people etc. but I hope we get to see more of that in season 3. Because even if Zero would be ok with his sexuality, it's not easy to predict how the other teammates would react to the news or how sponsors would respond (though anything would probably be better than being caught with prostitutes - idk).. I really hope we get to see Zero fight to get Jude back in season 3. I think Zero is going to miss him a lot because no matter how much Zero "doesn't do relationships", he certainly was in one with Jude. Maybe Zero's one of those people who has to lose something before he understands what he had. But I have really high hopes for their storyline. I think the creator and writer for this show is doing a great job and he really seems to care for these two characters. It's even better that both Jude and Zero have troubled backgrounds and Jude is the son of Oscar, so there's so much to do with these characters story wise. The only downer is we have to wait 9 months for season 3! Zero and Jude would make the perfect couple.
I 100% agree. Awesome.

Yeah I think Zero ok with his sexuality, but he knows others might not be so in his life and field. So he keeps it to himself. He just doesn't do relationships, he does good times and no strings. But I think Jude is different, they were kinda domesticated in a way. Zero hanging out at Jude place taking showers and eating Jude's food. But Jude was right to want a relationship in public and to tell Zero the things he did. Jude wants Zero, but he's not going to put himself through emotional roller coaster to get it.
I wonder if Jude starts something with another guy to see what else is out there. And Zero gets jealous and fights to get Jude back?

Just wanted to let you know that I'm uploading Jude and Zero's storyline on youtube with english subtitles (and I've managed to get the videos in HD). English is not my first language but I've tried my best (also my first video ever with subtitles, so there's that...) Someone asked me on tumblr if I could do it and I thought that maybe someone on this site maybe would like the videos as well. I've only just uploaded the one video so far but here you go:
Respect to anyone who does these kinds of videos regularly!!! It takes awhile........

I only recently discovered this show. Jude and Zero might be the hottest male couple currently being portrayed in entertainment. The show is kind of trashy, but in an intelligent way. It's a very sharp, hip production. It's great to see a man who swings both ways portrayed with such frankness and charisma and with no self-loathing or self-doubt. He's manly, athletic, confident and knows his way around a woman's body and yet he does it with dudes without the slightest hint that there's anything wrong or even unusual about that. That he's a professional athlete in a high profile macho sport gives him even more of a cutting edge. I think he's a bit of a breakthrough for American television.
My guess is that in season 3 Zero finds his way back to Jude. Becoming the league's first openly LGBT player might be what gets Zero out of PR jail and enables him to start getting endorsement deals again. I can imagine a story where Jude isn't sure why Zero agreed to go public about their relationship - because he really wants to be with him or because it was an extremely shrewd PR and career move?

They're seriously hot. I think that was my first (shallow) thought when I first saw them. (Thank you James LaRosa!!!) Zero's such an interesting character and I was surprised when he opened up to Jude and told him about his childhood. Zero starts out like a smart-ass and a flirt and he seems so shallow (heh) but by the end of season 2 I felt really sorry for him. I hope Zero will find his way back to Jude in season 3 but I hope he'll have to work for it a little bit. I like your idea and I could actually see it happen. I'm really excited to see what Jude will be doing in season 3 and what's going to happen to Oscar and their relationship.

One of my favorite scenes is when Jude got jealous of Zero flirting with the hostess at the wedding so he told her Zero had crabs. LOL

It doesn't really explicitly say if Jonathan's role will be gay. But hopefully his character is and a love triangle will happen. I want to see a jealous Zero!

It would be interesting to see a jealous Zero, perhaps the character that Jonathan plays makes it clear he's interested in Jude. And it throws Jude because he's never been pursued like that, Considering his complications with Zero. And Zero can't handle it so acts out and things go haywire.

Thanks for those promo photos, Haru! I'm looking forward to this story line more than any others. Partly this is because Jude and Zero are so incredibly hot, but also because Zero is such an interesting and - I think - groundbreaking character.
When the previous season ended, Zero was at a low point. He was scandal-plagued, unpopular with the team's fans, none of his teammates liked him and Jude had dumped him. Some key scenes that I think indicate the direction they'll take with Zero in the new season are the scene where his team had just won the championship and he had nobody to celebrate with and the scene just after Jude walked out on him and he was left looking at the giant poster of himself. He's all image and no substance, as Jude had told him. In the new season, I think we'll see him try to become a more down-to-earth, likable person. Coming out will probably be a part of that. I predict that his team will win the championship again this season and we'll see a scene where he and Jude celebrate with a kiss - a direct contrast with the previous championship celebration.
The new guy is a sport agent like Jude, so maybe he is Zero's new agent since Jude quit. I'm not sure if the new guy will get involved with either Zero or Jude. Probably Jude. I have a feeling that like Christian on VL, we'll never see Zero having eyes for another guy besides Jude.

Is there a reason this new season will only have 10 episodes compared to last season which had 12? Does this mean it's the last season? I certainly hope it isn't. I love Jude and Zero (Zude). And it will be fun seeing Jonathan Bennett again too, especially in a gay role

Season 2 did better in ratings than season 1, so I'm hoping season 3 will do even better. I love Jonathan Bennett! I can't wait to see him on the show - especially if he comes in-between Jude and Zero. I'm here for all the lovely drama.

Does anyone know if there's a release date for third season? It was supposed to start on this month and we already passed half of it.

I was just coming here to ask this. I'm so confused because on Wikipedia it says May 2015, but like deepdarkmidnight said half of May has already passed! I don't get it.. why have we not seen any promos yet? I find May 25th highly unlikely, because like I said.. the promos haven't even started airing yet! I don't think the premiere will be before sometime in June tbh.

To further confuse things, IMDB has the next episode listed as airing on June 19. I have no idea where that date may have come from, though.

It makes sense to start broadcasting the show during the NBA play-offs, which is what they've done the previous two seasons. The play-offs run until mid-June. So we must be close, I think.

Here's an article that gives some insight into what will happen between Jude and Zero in season 3: thegeekiary.com/hit-the-floor-with-creator-james-larosa/24387At the end of article is some possibly discouraging news about when season 3 will premiere. The writer of the article sug gests it will premiere later in the year, "possibly this fall."
