I am still enjoying this story, although I did think it was a bit of a cop-out that Jude and Noah decided to settle for doing 'other stuff'. I get that they are young (the characters and the actors) but I was not expecting an onscreen love scene. (In fact I was surprised they took the scene of shirtless Jude making out with Noah on the bed in the yacht as far as they did.)
I have to wonder though, would a straight couple in the same age bracket have settled for 'other stuff'?

(In fact I was surprised they took the scene of shirtless Jude making out with Noah on the bed in the yacht as far as they did.) I have to wonder though, would a straight couple in the same age bracket have settled for 'other stuff'? If we're going by how the show is handling sex, I think they've been fairly consistent. He is 14 and from what I remember all of his siblings were older than he currently is when they first had sex. Except I can't include Brandon, who I believe had already had sex prior to the show starting, so who knows, but he was 17 when the show started. From what I remember Jesus was 15 (which is the easiest to recall because it was after Mariana's Quinceañera), Mariana 16, and Callie 17; however, age on this show is confusing, because time moves slower. With them, though, they didn't discuss "other stuff", so that could have been happening without it being mentioned. If someone else remembers better, please correct me.

And that's a wrap for this season. I'm not thrilled about how little airtime Jude got this season; even for an ensemble show it's obvious there are different tier characters. It is still a great little show and one that promotes a lot of positive visibility for LGBT teens and LGBT families so I hope it will be renewed - just with more focus on Jude (and Noah).
Oh, and I feel Noah has proven that he genuinely cares about Jude and isn't with him solely as a partner-in-crime.

Sad news: Gavin MacIntosh (who formerly played Connor) revealed that he has given up acting. Sounds like he became really disillusioned with the industry. I always liked him and vastly preferred him to Jude, so was hoping I'd see him in something else once he got booted off The Fosters. IMO, all 3 of Jude's love interests have been more likable than him.

Jude began as a kinda of fem and is not conventionally attractive so I am not surprised some people would prefer his love interests to him

I think he needs to stay away from the preacher's kid, he's bad news. I always expected Connor to show up down the road since his father still live close to the Fosters, so surely he visits sometimes

Some interesting Foster's news. I'm not sure what to think of it yet.

I've been expecting The Fosters to be cancelled so that doesn't come as a surprise; the news of a spin-off however does! I wonder who the third young cast-member joining Callie and Mariana in LA will be. It sounds like it must be one of their brothers, but I can't see Jude leaving their mothers' home when the actor is still young (Hayden is 17). So I guess this will be the end of Jude's story (except for guest appearances). If we're lucky they may introduce a gay housemate/friend/coworker for Callie and Mariana.
