So happy to see this show back! I'm amazed that Pivot ordered a 3rd season even before the 2nd one airs.

Yay!! Can't wait. Can't believe it has been more than a year! Hopefully Geoffrey will still have a good amount of screen time.

Yes, this was one of the shows I was looking forward to seeing new episodes from. Harmonium, I also hope that Geoffrey has a lot of screen time to. I have to admit I quite like all of the quirky Australian comedies - Winners and Losers, House Husbands, Offspring and of course Please Like Me.

As Season Two Josh is living with his best friend Tom (Thomas Ward) and new housemate/potential lover, Patrick (Charles Cottier). Geoffrey only makes an appearance I love Geoffrey

It jumps a few years? Seems a bit extreme to have that much of a time skip... I miss Geoffrey too... he is quirky in his own way... hope the new housemate Patrick is quirky too..

Charles Cottier used to be on Home and Away and was totally adorable. It'll go some way to making up for the lack of gorgeous Wade Briggs.

A time jump is a little different, but could be good. Season 1 was fine, but to be honest I didn't find the Josh character to be particularly likeable. I hope it's a little better in season 2, but from that clip I would guess it'll be the same. I guess we'll see.

It isn't to say he is a bad person but I definitely wouldn't say he is a good one either. I thought he had finally changed when he started crying after the funeral but I was wrong... Hopefully S2 will have some character development for him.

Party of three here - not a fan of Josh either. But I think that's the sort of comedy JT is famous for: slightly off-colour jokes that you feel awkward for laughing.

I like Josh for what he is - awkward. You get to see some of him in certain people you meet in your life. I don't think he is set out to make people like him, hence the ironic title "Please Like Me". I can't wait for the new season. Too bad, Geoffrey is just "guest-starring". Hope the new potential love interest is interesting.

I didn't mind the fact that he was often awkward (along with some of the humor). I think what bothered me was that he just came across as quite self-centered in season 1, at least enough to turn me off of the character. To be fair, most of the characters had some significant personality ... quirks .

I enjoyed the most recent episode (epi 4) the style of humour appeals to me. Just wish Josh's character could be more likeable.

Ugh. Well, I guess I didn't expect the Josh character to be any more likeable this season. Patrick said it: "You're not interested in caring about others." I'm still trying to figure out why on earth Patrick kissed Josh, though.

I'm not convinced of Patrick's feelings for Josh. It's evident that he isn't taking this seriously, which does not bode well. But the plentiful kissing was nice. And I agree with Josh - too bad he didn't manage to get Patrick's pants off before they were interrupted. Charles Cottier is so cute.
Spoiler for the rest of the season - highlight to read below each episode title:
Lapin La Cocotte Patrick tells Josh he's not sexually interested in him; Josh agrees to take his Mum to the zoo.
Scroggin Mum and Josh go hiking in scenic remote Tasmania; Mum gets trapped in a waterhole by a snake.
Truffled Mac and Cheese Patrick moves out of the house; Tom eats all of Josh's special truffled mac and cheese.
Skinny Latte Josh's first day on the job at his coffee cart; Stuart tells Mum he's leaving.
Margherita Josh and Arnold go out dancing and bump into a very out-of-it Patrick; Arnold has an anxiety attack.
