Both, Petteri Paavola (Elias) and Ronny Roslöf (Lari) are straight in real life. Ronny has a girlfriend. Petteri, I don't know, but what I've understood from the interviews thet I've read he's also straight. Ronny also says that he thinks she would rather see him kissing a guy over a girl.  So the fact that we think they might be gay in real life, just means they're good at what they do. And they both are invested their characters and welcome the challenge. |

Next part courtesy of Monpensiers88: And here is a message that Monpensiers88 posted with the video, that is relevant for this thread: There has been a lot of conversation about how you can find clips in YT that I haven't subbed and am I actually subbing the whole storyline or is there parts missing.
This storyline started last December and has been continued throughout the spring. The parts I have already subbed are from December to March. That means there are clips in YT about Elias that I haven't subbed yet, and those clips are from episodes from April to June. They are going to be subbed of course. The storyline is in chronological order and you'll find eventually all the clips about Elias here with English subtitles.
Because of the fact, that my channel doesn't follow the IRL schedule but is behind it, the spoilers are a tricky thing. They aren't actually spoilers since they have already happened, but because non-Finnish speakers can't understand a thing when they are watching the clips in YT, let's count all the episodes that aren't yet in my channel as spoilers. There are people that wanna be surprised and let's give them the chance. So let's try not to talk about what's going to happen so much but what is happening here. |

Thank you kevvoi for posting the clips. I've just started watching this storyline and I'm quite intrigued by it. Very happy that monpensiers88 will be subbing all the storyline.

This show is really, really good. The storyline might not be ground-breaking, but the writing and the acting are both pretty solid and entertaining. I'm also thrilled that they are not shying away from the physical intimacy of gay relationships. Does anyone know how old the actors playing Lari and Elias are? I know they are supposed to be playing 15-year-olds but Lari especially does not look 15.

Petteri Paavola (Elias) does have an IMDb page (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4765217/), but it doesn't have any information other than his film credits for Secret Lives. It doesn't help that there is a Skier with the same name who was born in 1964. I did find a picture of him smiling:  For Ronny Roslöf (Lari), I found both a facebook page and a hockey page that both list his birthdate as August 6, 1989 (Sources: www.facebook.com/RonnyRoslofwww.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=64954 ) As a side note there was an eliteprospects profile for a Petteri Paavola as well, but I had trouble believing that it was the same person, as that page listed a birthdate of June 19, 1992 - which seemed a bit young. (Source: www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=72945 ) Unfortunately everything else appeared to be in Finnish. The power of google |

^ I'll say! But I think Lari actually wins the Meanie Sweepstakes, given what he did to Elias.
Thanks for the answers on Lari and Elias's real ages. Petteri could pass for a teen, Ronny not so much, heh. Still love both of them though, especially for their willingness to portray this storyline.

I just started watching Monpensiers88 channel. The actor who plays Elias looks familiar, like I've seen him before. But I doubt it, maybe he has one of those faces.

geovanicool3r it might be easier for you to watch them on youtube -- On the videos above -- click on the youtube on the lower right corner of the video. It will open a new page in your browser. Then there is a button on the base of the video that says cc -- click on it and it will give you the option to turn on subtitles.
