Thanks, mrfixit! "I love Sonny too much to just give up." Apparently Will's love didn't matter enough when he went to bed with Paul. I'm a little torn on his desire to get Paul out of the picture. I get that he doesn't want the competition (and he's probably right to worry about that, at least to some extent). I'm wondering what he's planning to do to try to make things up to Sonny. Right now he's focusing on getting rid of Paul. How far will he go? I wonder if there's something in Lucas' past that prompted him to help Will. Perhaps someone who's watched the show for a while can help me .

Will's smile/smirk at Tori at the end there was just delightful. I think this is all probably going to blow up in his face, but it is so great to see him actively fighting for Sonny. At first I thought it was a bit OOC for Lucas to be so easily helping him, but he did sometimes help Sami in the past, so it's not like he's never done it. Will has always had more of a conscience than Sami, so I think the labeling of him as simply Sami, Jr. is a little unfair. Still, it's nice to see those Sami/Lucas/Kate genes shining through. I hope the Marlena genes are strong enough to keep him from going too far. I know a lot of people think that when Sonny finds out that Will pulled something like this he will condemn him for it, and I wouldn't put it past the writers, but I think it's important to remember that Sonny isn't exactly pure -- he was ready to murder someone for Will; what's a little blackmail compared to that? So Paul knows absolutely nothing about the history of Will and Sonny's relationship, and yet he assumes Sonny only married Will on the rebound. For someone who claims to love Sonny, he's really not showing much respect for or understanding of Sonny with that theory.

Paul assumed that because Sonny make him assume that, and not only with their last conversation but due to the way he behave around Paul all the time since he came back to Salem.
And no, i don't think Sonny will react well to the blackmail at all. Their relationship was at a bad point before Paul was in Salem, and Will just make it worse. And i doubt Sonny will appreciate the way Will has to fight for their marriage. If Will is lucky the whole blackmail will explode in his face before Sonny is back, but i doubt he will be lucky

Parents ALWAYS get over involved in their kids love lives on soaps. Look at Jen all up on JJ's business. It's the nature of the beast.
I love Adrienne, she's one of my favorites. Her past with Justin has nothing to do with Will and Sonny's problems. Any parent would lash out at someone who hurt their child. Her slapping Will might be wrong, but it was damn good soap.

Cute video interview with Christopher Sean and Hira Ambrosino (Tori). No spoilers. He is so good, and so different, on Hawaii-Five-0, but I selfishly hope they only continue to want him part-time and he stays on Days for a good long time.

Guy looked like he was having lots of fun with the blackmail scenes and it showed. Also, BD/Lucas was masterful in the way he handled Paul. He was so effective with no theatrics necessary. That's true talent.

That's true talent. Aaawww seanny, I see here, and on DR, that you've finally let go of Brian and have moved on to Paul. You now seem to be on board with a couple that has an actual outside chance of happening (I say outside because, if Days tape schedule was the same as the other soap ie: 2-3 weeks ahead, TIIC would've seen that PaulSon has a legitimate fan base and maybe would've been given a real shot. As it is, I'm afraid it's still all about WilSon). I'm just so proud that you've let go of the futile hope that Brian might come back and have embraced the hotness that is Christopher Sean. #TeamPaulSon

Lucas was extremely manipulative and yes, Guy is loving his blackmail storyline. Anyway, i don't think it will work as well as they expected

Thanks, mrfixit! Will is definitely his mother's son. His behavior is certainly dramatic, but his attitude leaves a hell of a lot to be desired. Lucas isn't having a lot of luck getting through to him. I'm really curious to see if Adrienne and Sonny talk about their respective marriage problems. They unfortunately have something in common with their cheating husbands. But at least Sonny's back.

Sonny looked so good yesterday (I love him in that leather jacket), and the chemistry between Sonny and Paul was amazing.
My reactions to Will were totally conflicting. This whole blackmail thing is so distasteful and disrespectful not only to Tori and Paul, but especially to Sonny. It is as though Will thinks that because he himself succumbed to Paul's charms when in Paul's presence, Sonny obviously will, too. He's digging his own grave.
On the other hand, as soon as he saw Sonny, his face completely changed and he became a total mushball. The contrast between the Tori/Will and Sonny/Will scenes couldn't have been more clear. Will is a scared, threatened, immature kid who's unwittingly playing with fire. Neither of these characterizations makes him ideal as a partner for Sonny at the moment, but the latter is certainly more appealing to me than the former.

Yeah, Will just keeps digging a deeper hole. I loved that Lucas tried (once again) to talk some sense into him, but jeez his priorities are all messed up. Sonny is already questioning what Will is doing. I wonder how long until the truth about Will's schemes come to light. He did seem to enjoy trying to blackmail Tori, but he's deluding himself if he thinks that's going to help keep Sonny from leaving him.
Thanks again, mrfixit!

Holy crap, Will is paranoid and insecure. Even more than I thought. When he blurted out "why would Sonny want me when he can have you" (or something like that) -- that sentiment feels like the crux of it. He feels unworthy. The thing is, Will has to realize himself that he is (was?) and I'm sure he's going to make things much worse before they get better. Sonny's going to hit the roof when he finds out Will's been going around threatening Paul and Tori.

Ugh, Guy Wilson makes a lot of awkward expressions when emoting. I think Wills character is ruined for me, unredeemable.

I actually thought Guy did some of the best work he's done on this last episode -- he's pretty good at conveying crazy and desperate.
Any growth in self-esteem that Will has shown ever since he spit at himself in the mirror before he came out has been completely erased by this situation. Sonny has reassured him so many times, and it never hits home.
Will has been acting like a jerk, no question, and there is no excuse for him cheating on Sonny, but I still find it very sad that, even as he thinks he's second choice for Sonny, he's fighting to keep him, willing to remain (in his mind) second-best, as though he doesn't deserve any better.
It's about time we heard Sonny speak honestly to someone about his feelings for Paul and Will.

Hey, there's T! I was wondering what happened to him. I found Will's comments about Sonny not responding to his texts to be rather ironic, considering what Will did when he was in LA. Thanks, mrfixit!

Paul is one smooth operator and a great manipulator. That's the way I feel about him and his gigantic ego. Let's see how all this plays out. I certainly hope his big ego gets inflated.
