Thanks, mrfixit! Even if things get bad soon, at least we got some happy times. That's more than can be said for some other soaps.

True, but would it be to much to ask for these to be shirtless happy times. And not the pan down away from the bed once kissing starts. That happens every time they're in bed together!

I finally got caught up through today (thanks, mrfixit!). The whole situation is a mess. So much crap from so many people, it's hard for me to like anyone. So contrived, so soapy. Why the hell didn't Sonny tell Will weeks ago that he helped Will with the job. They've had so many secrets that cause problems that you would think he should know better. Of course it will come out at the worst possible time. Very contrived. Ugh. Sami's delusional. Will was right on one thing: she is totally playing the victim. Every time anyone challenges what she's doing, she plays it up. I did feel sympathy for a while, but she's long since gone overboard. That rationale only works for so long. What she's doing now won't make her feel any better in the long run, won't give her closure. And she doesn't care who gets hurt in the process. As for Will, I don't really think he should have written the article. A number of people are going to get hurt by it, despite his professed intentions. He's like his mother in some ways, a comparison I'm sure he wouldn't like. Did he really think it would make her stop? Unless she gets taken down quickly, this will just make her dig in that much more. Argh. At least I can say Will and Sonny have been getting physical a lot more recently than they have in a while. So there's that .

I was thinking today that maybe Sami might not be as angry after she sees that Abby was explicitly named in the article. Of course, there goes Will & Abby's friendship. Thanks, mrfixit!

I'm so glad people are telling Will off. What the hell did he think was going to happen? I almost couldn't believe his reaction when EJ challenged him on the fallout from this. I suppose to be fair in the end it won't be as bad as all that (it is a soap, after all), but it's pretty bad. And Will just doesn't seem to be thinking. How exactly was this supposed to stop his mom? Argh. But the end of the clip takes the cake. Sami's having big trouble with the fallout and begs EJ of all people to help her. What on earth would compel him to help her? Good grief.

I hate this version of Will, he's become an arrogant vindictive hypocritical man. If this is what they mean by a more mature Will they can keep him. I hope Sonny cheats on this idiot. As for the love scenes I'm not impressed I find it kind of forced and not tender at all. Bring Brian back, he at least had chemistry with Freddie.

Sonny is wearing that awful shirt the whole week. I am starting to miss winter, at least his jackets hide his awful fashion sense for shirts

He called Sonny a glorified barista, he went too far, but I laughed

Well, that was quite the fight. The first time I watched it last night, I found it really hard to sympathize with Will. I just watched it again and I'm a little easier on him, but not by much. That said, Sonny doesn't get a free pass, either. Interestingly, I think some of the comments on the YT page are on to something: Will seems to still have some serious insecurity and/or resentment issues. How many comments has he made about "pulling his weight" in their family? And how often has he been at odds with his mother? It feels to me that he's not being honest with himself about what his real motivations were, and they can't really move forward until he does. He ran away from both Sonny and Marlena when they really pressed him on it. Unfortunately for Sonny, those are feelings that Will has to work on himself; I'm not convinced that Sonny can really help. At the same time, I can see how Sonny's actions could be seen as either just wanting to help the guy he loves (his professed reason) or as a patronizing act. Will certainly sees it as the latter (through the lens of his own insecurities, I think). At the same time, as I said before, Sonny should have been upfront about helping Will get an opportunity. He clearly thought Will would react badly if he knew, so why did he go ahead and do it anyway? Will was right about one thing: it was better that they didn't try to continue the conversation. And, for what it's worth, I personally didn't lol at the "glorified barista" attack . It was a really low blow. As bad as practically ripping Ari out of Sonny's hands when he got home.

I think the glorified barista remark really showed that Will is jealous of Sonny's success. While I'm sure Will is proud of Sonny for his success with the club Will really wants to be successful to with his writing and he wants to do it own his own like Sonny. Sonny could have easily went to Victor for the money for the club but he did it on his own. Will just wants the same success. It will be interesting watching them work through this.

Hmmm, Sonny didn't really do it on his own. He didn't go to a bank like most folks would have to do. He got Ian (now dead) to invest.

Hmmm, Sonny didn't really do it on his own. He didn't go to a bank like most folks would have to do. He got Ian (now dead) to invest. At least Sonny was/is written as being proactive about his pursuit of his career. Will has had everybody in his life, doing things to make things easier for him. I just wish that Will's growing resentment about the "soft glove handling" of him would inspire him to stop wanting and needing everyone's approval of his actions. Especially when he's in the wrong. I know that I'm tired of saying it, but he's the son of Lucas and Sami. Shouldn't there be sometime, in which he doesn't give a crap about what others (including his husband, Sonny) think about his actions and behavior? Sonny shouldn't have to had go behind Will's back to get him a job. Yes, it's great, fantastic, special and loving that Sonny does these things for his husband. He supports him fully, but at the same time, it should make Will think that his husband feels that Will isn't capable enough to try and pursue his career on his own. Without the guidance and influence needed from Sonny's family connections. Isn't this sort of thing, the same type of behavior that he resents seeing in Sami and how she's been treated by the men in her life? As much as Will doesn't want to admit, he is similar to Sami and if he doesn't admit it to himself, he's going to continue to let Sonny, Kate, Lucas "fix things" for him forever, while seething with resentment at the same time.

If we could decide who we loved, it would be much simpler, but less magical.

I have watch Will grow over the years and I remember how he's always hated the crap both his parents have pulled. And then placing the blame elsewhere and he always acted like he was above their childish behavior. But he really is just like Lucas and Sami, he is truly their son.
He's a grown man, who got too caught up in writing the article and proving something to Sami. That he didn't think of the fallout that it would cause. And to go attacking Sonny, who has been nothing but supportive of Will. Will's angry at Sami, EJ, I think Abigail as well, and himself as well. But just like his parents he takes his anger out on the wrong person. Will's a grown man with a child, it's time he grow up and act like one.
