This is from a Spanish Novela. It takes place in the civil war of Spain but by the time the lesbian storyline get introduced, I believe it's over. The timeline seems to be kind of complicated.
This is the only video I found that has English Subtitles (it starts from Capítulo 79). Malexita was the one that uploaded the storyline

Thanks, Ómar. I'm a very strong fan of AETR and I didn't any post about the Ana&Teresa love story because in this board there weren't any space for lesbian stories. This story happens in the 50's, during Franco's rule, and talks about the problems that LGTB people had in these times. In all the seasons there is a main character who is gay or lesbian. Ana and Teresa were the main characters in the 4th and 5th season (1950-1953). Now they're airing the 7th season, that happens in 1956-57. There is a gay character, Julio, as the 6th had another one that was a main one, Ubaldo. Both men show the imposibility of having a love story in that time for gay people. First of all, because people denied their sexual desires because their lives could be very sad (gaybashing with no legal consequences for the ofenders because what was punished was to be gay, blackmails, etc.). This season, the Ana&Teresa love story continues. They appeared in some episodes and now they're been blackmailed for some intimate fotos of both in their bed. As many lesbians in the past, they started being intimate friends without recognizing their own feelings to themselves. After, when they were sure about their feelings, they decided not to have a sexual relationship because they would have many problems. And both married a man. In fact, Ana married Teresa's brother, so they're sisters-in-law. But their husbands were very unhappy because, at the end, the two women couldn't avoid their feelings and desires and became lovers. The actresses Marina San José (Ana), and Carlota Olcina (Teresa) won a LGTB price. Marina San José is daughter of the singers Victor Manuel and Ana Belén, very commited in the fighting against Franco's rule. And Carlota Olcina played the character Nuria, one of the main ones in El Cor de la Ciutat. Nuria was the pianist that became Max's sister when Clara, Nuria's mother, adopted him. In the AERT web page there is a special about the Ana&Teresa story, with all its phases, from their simple friendship, to now (in the series, February 1957), when they're living together in Santander, a quiet town far from Madrid and by the beach. People thinks they live together because they're sisters-in-law and because Ana has a child from his late husband, that is also Teresa's only nephew from her late only brother. So both women are bringing up together a child and are a family. This is the link with Ana and Teresa page, from de official web of Amar en tiempos revueltos (Love in troubled times): www.rtve.es/television/amar/ana-teresa/

Teresa is annoyed because Ana is clearly atracted to Rosa, a beautiful actress. By then, both (Ana and Teresa) have had a sexual relationship after some drinks, but decided not to continue it because all the kind of problems they could have. But Teresa became jealous and something moves inside her. The posibility of losing Ana, and the thinking about to do the following step (to become a couple with her and to leave her husband), these were the reasons for her to suffer a panic crisis.

Thanks for all the information!!! I would never have gathered that much since I've never watched the show and I don't have the cultural background in knowledge of Spain either. Carmelabcn, you are awesome!!

By now, the end of the Ana and Teresa story is, they have faked they have dead in a car accident, to avoid being blackmailed, and also, to let Teresa's husband Hector to marry Asun, the girl he loves. Because in that time divorce didn't exist in Spain.
This series follows in A3 (the same than FoQ), with the name of "Amar es para siempre". And begins to be aired next Jaunary, with Marc Clotet (FoQ, El Cor de la ciutat) as the main male character.
